These boots are for 24.5 cm long feet. I recommend to use soft, rather elastic leather, not less than 1 millimeter thick (1.5 mm is better) or use lining. Use a thicker and more stiff leather for the sole (2+ mm is better), or use several layers that are glued to each other. You also may add a sheet of rubber to protect your soles. It's also possible to make these boots out of a heavy fabric like denim, or lined fabric. Similar boots made by me withstood several LARP games with sand, grass, dirt, pinecones, etc. easily. Warning: try not to wear them in the watery environment and under heavy rain, as they will soak. IMPORTANT: there is a full set of patterns for the right boot.
