The brooch is reproduced from medieval art. From a painting by "A jeweler in his shop", dated 1449 by Petrus Christ. Made in the workshop of Willem van Vleiten, a jeweler from Bruges who worked for Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy. We have tried very hard to make this brooch as accurate as possible like historical jewelry. This replica was made for the reenactors of medieval dress and Renaissance dress to make you look great at the festival and at the ball. As befits a noble lady or Lord Brooch made from Solid Brass and Gilding, that gives her a more refined, rich brilliance. Brooch is decorated with real pearls and glass gem.
