Double steel head- U8 ((W108 in US Standart or C80W2 in European classification) for the cutting edge, that let to hack a constraction steel and ST45 (1045 in US Standart or С 45/Ск 45 in European classification) with multizone heat tempering it gives the combination of very high hardness in the cutting zone and a perfect persistence in impact loads. The ash wood hande designed, carved, patinated, inlayed manually, axe is assembled and finished by the one Artist. Designing of the first exemple takes two-three months and one month required to create this piece of decorative and applied art.
